Is belly dancing allowed in Islam? – Belly Dancing Belt Uk

In the U.S., the answer would probably be no. It’s a religion that requires a lot of faith, and you have to be willing to commit to a life as a Muslim living in America.

And for some, that means being circumcised.

It is estimated that as many as five million babies are circumcised every year in North America, Canada and South America.

The U.S. government also provides tax-deductible child health care to parents whose baby is circumcised, but the organization isn’t doing enough to discourage parents from the tradition. Only 2.4 per cent of the U.S. infant population is circumcised, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

(The actual rate, which includes those whose babies are in a state of medically-induced circumcision and those whose babies are circumcised due to religious reasons, is more than four times that of Canada, according to CDC statistics.)

In fact, in the U.S., about 30 per cent of all newborns are circumcised.

This cultural practice has also been going on in Israel, where it is illegal, and in other countries across the Middle East where circumcision is associated with an unsavoury Islamic tradition known as female circumcision.

For that reason Israel prohibits female circumcision on newborns, according to health officials at the Israeli Health Ministry.

Most parents in the U.S. who allow their children to be circumcised say that’s because they are in a culture where Islam, Judaism or Christianity is less prevalent.

“If the U.S. were a Muslim country, I’d have to be circumcised,” said John Naughton, 52, of Longmont, Colo. Naughton is one of more than 100 Americans that the Denver Post interviewed after writing its story about the American circumcision ritual recently.

He said it would be “crazy” to put his four-year-old son on painkillers and keep him awake when his brother is awake to be circumcised.

“My son would do it; he’s always having fun with it,” he said.

“It’s pretty cool the way they go about it. You get to learn about the Islamic world and know how beautiful it is to have this tradition, where people take care of each other, where they respect their elders.”

But some say the culture of circumcision in the U.S. gives an unfair advantage to children living in “the dark ages” who do not practice their faith.
