“I started piano school at 12, and my parents were very supportive of me. My dad was a violinist and my mother wanted me to stay home from school when I was little. I wasn’t given the opportunity to develop piano at an early age.

“I still have many piano lessons with my parents. I like to practice at my own keyboard. I also like to listen to music, but at the moment I spend a lot of time doing computer exercises like chess.

“I will probably continue taking piano lessons. Before I was able to go to the top level of piano, I’d rather spend my time on playing computer games.”

Are you still playing music?

“Yes, I’m still in the music industry. I am now doing my own songwriting projects and doing cover versions of older songs. I’ll make one next year, and I’m looking forward to going to L.A. next month.

“I did a music video with a girl named Amanda Lee for the music video [for A$AP Rocky’s ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing,’] and it went so well. She has such a huge fan base, so people are already asking me to cover her songs and I’d love to do it. I don’t know if I can make a lot more money making music in this industry than I did in my music videos, so I might have to find a new career.

“At the moment, I’m not really doing anything. I don’t play live anymore.”

Are you planning to write your own songs anytime soon?

“I think I probably don’t have anywhere to go. Right now, everything that I do is limited to my music videos, as well as covers of popular songs.

“It really isn’t something I have any interest in writing.”

Would you be open to being featured in an upcoming music video?

“[laughs] I am definitely open to some attention. If some agency wants to shoot a video or feature me, let me know.”

Who is your favourite songwriter and singer?

“Oh man, there are so many of them in this industry! They are so much fun to listen to and see. I really love J.Cole. His music is so unique and is very different from anything else out there. I love Beyoncé. I love Drake and a couple other guys as well. They all have great songs. I enjoy them all.”
