If you were to pick a genre as hard (and often) as your own own music, which would be your first choice?

The hardest thing I’ve ever played was the guitar, my dad took me to a few shows and I played on one of them by myself. And I could hear the guitar, I could hear the strings, I could hear that I had some sort of rhythm with it. And it really gave me the courage to learn this whole new genre of playing with these new instruments. But every time I get to do something like that, it’s a moment that really makes me feel like I’m not doing anything else, I’m doing the best I can. And that’s kind of the most important part.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do in the recording process?

I think probably the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do in the recording process was “White.” Just when I was doing it, I knew it was going to be bad, and it was
