Is there a favorite thing you would like to have happen to you?
The easiest thing that will ever happen to me, after I die, will be to be cremated and have the ashes blown on the ground. Then I would be cremated and the ashes blown on the floor of my apartment and the ashes are collected and spread as far as I can and I can have my ashes blown on the ceiling of my kitchen or my bathroom and then the room would go to dust.
How does your music relate to how you handle your hair?
Well, my hair is kind of weird. When I was younger I used to wear my hair in a certain style, then when I was a teenager I used to wear my hair shorter. I’m not really a man with big hair, and when I do grow it short, it’s kinda funny. I do have kind of a short hair-like vibe to it, but I’m not one of the guys just hanging it back all the time; I actually like it.
Do you get a strange amount of stares and body language when you go down on stage?
They’re always weird. I’ve always gotten stares! It’s not because I’m a woman, it’s just because I’m a naked girl. I’m not just a girl.
What about if an audience member starts to feel uncomfortable while watching one of your performances? Do you try to diffuse the situation to get them to stop?
I don’t know, man. I’ve met people who had sexual experiences, and when I’m on stage with a man, I’ll usually play my songs with no music. When I play with a female vocalist it will always sound good. I’ll just turn it on, and I’ll be like “Dude, turn it up, get it crazy!”
How do you manage to keep a straight face and still do what you do?
